Bed Extender Question
Bed Extender Question
I installed a duraliner and i want to put the bushings through the bedliner, the 4 bushings where you plug the locking stems into.
Do you just pry them out or do you pull them from the inside???
Thanks

My duraliner was made with the correct holes already drilled for the extender hardware. I didn't have to remove anything to install the liner except the cargo rings. If I understand you correctly, you want to remove the bushings from the bed, reinstall the liner and then reinstall the bushings? If this is what you are thinking, its not a great idea. The liner, although bolted in using the cargo ring bolts, shifts and moves....and actually quite a bit. If you attach the bushings through the liner, I think yo will break or even wear through the bushings. This is just a best guess on my part, I'm no Rocket Scientist.

thanks Loose,
i punted that idea and cut 4 holes the size of a nickle, works fine.
i saw some guys with the bed rug insert their harware through the rug and it looked really good, but like you said the drop in will move and the bedrug is taped in place
