taillamp condensation
taillamp condensation
Has anyone had these problems? I've got a 2001 supercrew with 28,000 miles. The left tail lamp has been replaced once because of condensation inside the lense at about 10,000 miles now again, both lenses (at 28,000 miles) had to be replaced. Fortunately under warranty; however, it concerns me that in 8,000 miles (almost in time for new ones again) they may condensate - are they doing something wrong or is this an inherent problem?
Yep.....
I have had a little bit of condensation form in my taillamps..... Sometimes I see it, sometimes I don't, all depends on the temperature..
I will probably take it in to the dealer around 25k miles and get them replaced!
Later,
Chris

Same here. Sometimes yes, sometimes no. Guess it depends on the weather. It's only in the backup light section though. I guess I'll mention it next time at the dealer. (See my other post)
