Wierd Steering wheel Problem?
Wierd Steering wheel Problem?
Hi Everyone,
As requested I took my truck back to the shop today where they had installed my 6” RCD lift and 33” tires/wheels last week so they could check everything out and re-torque all the bolts if need be and to make sure the alignment was still okay.
I had told them that the truck seemed to pull a little towards the right if you let go of the steering wheel.
Anyways, when the work was completed and had I picked it up and drove it back to work and then home.
The pulling to the right problem seemed to have been resolved but now when driving in a straight line my steering wheel appears to be not-centered?
Let me see if I can explain better ~ normally the steering wheel is aligned straight/centered like 12:00/6:00, but now it seems like it’s at 1:00/7:00.
Am I making in sense?
What happened, what causes this, and how does it get fixed?
It’s not really a big deal but it is kind of annoying because I want to see the darn steering wheel straight/centered.
I will take it back on Monday for them to fix.

MrTude--- Your toe needs to be realigned. If they took care of the pull by adjusting camber or caster then they should have readjusted the toe also. It is also possible that when they made the toe adjustment they did not have your steering wheel centered correctly. This is an easy problem to fix and they should have it centered in less than a half hour. Good luck---Paul
