Does the Access Cover rails interfere with the operation of the bed extender?

There is not problem using the bed extender with an Access Cover. The width between the two square "posts" to which the extender is attached is quite a bit narrower than the inside width of the bed.

 

Actually, the Access cover rails DO interfere with the bed extender. The extender is still useful, you just need to detach it and manually turn it around into position rather than leaving it attached to the posts and just flipping it back and forth.
