garage size
PhillipSVT,
Now that is the perfect setup. You gota love that.
My garage is 32x22. Since I bought this house I wondered how come the first owner made the garage so short. After reading this thread I went out the garage and opened my tail gate with the door closed. Hmm, look like I just gained a new appreciation for the depth of it.
Gotta get me one of them pole barns some day!

we are slowely getting the design done on a 115'x75' with two 20'x15' doors. Full concrete. But thats in prolly a year or so.
For inside the garage, a tennis ball attached to a string and the cealing works great. When the windshild touches the ball, you stop.

That is one sweet set up! Here in B'ham, most of us have basement garages (under the house). That gives me about 50' of depth but I only have 9' wide garage doors. A buddy of mine put in 10' doors on his new home. I really want to do that next time. I have rubbed the white paint from the trim around the garage doors off onto my fender flairs a couple of times making the turn into the garage. A little rubbing compound fixed it right up.
