My '01 S-screw just turned 96,8xxx miles this morning and the
Service Engine Soon light came on...how does one reset this once I service the engine?

 

Un-Hook your battery.....Turn headlights on. I guess they say you should turn the key to ignition position. Drain everything out of the system. If your problem is fixed...No more light.

 

My 2001 Screw with 17,000 miles on it had the same problem last weekend. The "Service Engine Soon" light was stuck on. I took it into the dealership yesterday and they replaced a defective sensor. It was part of a recall. It has nothing to do with "servicing" the vehicle I think.
