Power Slider Installation Instructions

Does anyone have the instruction sheets that come with the CR Laurance Powr Slider kit? I'm SERIOUSLY considering getting in on the group buy or getting one thus, I wanted to get a heads up to see if anyone had the instructions so that I could maybe check them out and see what I'm up against pre-ordering.

Any help and insight would be more than appreciated.

Im having mine installed tomarrow or Tuesday I will see if I can get a copy of the instructions. The CRL web site says its very user friendly the window actually bolts in place and has a buytel gasket that comes with the kit. If I can score a copy I will try and mail it or post it here somehow

Man, I sincerely appreciate it. I owe you one.

Not sure if you have access to a scanner but, if you did, you could just scan it in and email it... but, that's totally up to you.

Heck, for that case, I could meet you somewhere and nab them that way... what ever is the easiest for you...

Thanks again man...

Well I will just take your bed extender in trade LOL
No really I dont have a scanner so snail mail would be the best, This is provided that the flunkie who puts in the window will give me a copy of the directions. I dont want either of us to make a special trip for directions unless you are coming to Lexington anyway but it seems that Washington is more your favorite place to be. I will contact you as soon as I have something

Well, I bought a power slider off of ebay tonight... Got a good deal too... $195 and it was the LAST one that this seller had. I just hope I can do the installation.

Wish me luck.

I just spoke with the glass man who is putting my window in, he said that the one he gets has no instructions because it is coming to a shop that already knows how to install it

RockPick,

Have you checked the CR Laurence website. I just checked, they sell videos of the installation, how expensive could they be? Maybe you could email them and get them to fax you a copy of the instructions. Seems like they should be all to willing to get another happy customer installed and advertising for them.

Just my .02

Yeah... I've emailed them and indeed, I have seen that video on their website...

Here's the thing, they won't sell to a consumer. They only sell to distributors and thus, I can't get it through them.

I have contacted two distributors (that I know are CR Laurence distributors) to start fishing for details but, at this moment, I haven't heard back from either, nor the sales rep that I contacted who's office is located in LA.

I'll figure it all out......... eventually............ hopefully.

Thanks man... Keep your eyes peeled for a manual blowing down the street for me...

It finally came!!! I saw the window today and am having put in at 8:30 tomarrow. I will try to get some pics of the window being installed if I can. there where no instructions with the glass. The shop said that CRL doesnt send any instructions. I told him what you paid for yours on Ebay and he said mine was over $300.00 so you got a heck of a deal, spend alittle extra $$ and have in put in by a glass shop
