seat belt dinger?
There is a procedure in the manual to shut off the seat belt dinger, but if the battery is disconnected the default of ding will return.
Myself, I unplugged the harness under the seat that went to the seat belt. There is a 2 wire harness wrapped in black wire wrap tape, with a grey connector on it ( at least a '01 SCrew is was this color ). With the circuit open, the cluster thinks that the seatbelt is plugged in.
I do use my seatbelt EVERY time ( and I do mean Every time ), it is more so for when I start my truck and pull it out of the garage, to let it warm up a bit, I hate that sound myself
In almost 20 months I have not seen anything where this is a problem, and I have not seen a post where this can cause a problem anywhere ( i.e. air bags ) and the seat belt tensioner still works ( at least when I move too fast to get my cell phone it does ), so keep that in mind.
Good luck getting to a noise free startup !

king ranch dad is correct. On my '03, you just have to push the release button, and it stops dinging. When I go out to warm it up, I just start the engine, and push the seatbelt release button. No dinging.
