dlf,

Looks good. I've thought about replacing the stock speakers with something better but keeping the factory receiver as you have. How does it sound? Was it a significant improvement?

Mike,

The overall sound quality is clearer and better. Less distortion @ higher volumes. I also added the Clarion Camoflauge Subwoofer for a little more thump. It really finishes out the sound. I was not looking to rattle the windows on cars stuck in traffic with me, so I like the "little thump" provided by the Clarion. I think it is 1- 8" speaker. I can really drown out road noise @ highway speeds.
My speaker types are listed in my signature. I can't rememeber the model number, just that they are 3-ways, 6"x8" and were direct fit, no modifications needed. Installed, and doors Dynomatted @ Best Buy with no problems. The technician seemed to be pretty sharp.

Hope this helps you out.

DLF
