'01 Screw mods advice

First, I'm a hunter not a mechanic. I want to give my 5.4 a little sound and HP boost but am concerned about the right match of a catback and intake kit. Looking at the Magnaflow 15609 and the Airforceone intake. How will these work for 4x4 and towing and how much will it cost to get installed locally if I order off the net? How do these mods impact the computer and truck in general? Anything to watch out for? I have read all the threads and think this is the way to go but no comments regarding towing and off road. Thanks.

I have the air force 1 installed on my truck....it's actually a pretty easy install, if you're used to using normal tools, you could do that one yourself.

Luckily add-ons like air intake, and exhaust, will not require modification to the truck's programming. You can install things like exhaust, intake, and electric fans w/o having to change the program.

I can't speak to the Magnaflow, but I have the Ravin Z55 muffler SI/DO installed, and it's mild enough to fit my Screw, but gives me enough rumble if I step on it.

Best of luck in what you decide.
