I know..... I know.... everyone said use two controllers and I didn't listen! I know this probably isn't the best forum to bring this up, but since the majority of us do the fan mod cause of the blower installs I figured it would help.

Yep, the fan controller burned up, leaving me to overheat. Not too bad though, caught it in just enuf time to pull over and hot wire the fans. (no pun intended) The light never even came on. Looks like the wiring or the block couldn't handle the current. It was melted at the block where the power feed wire to the fan comes out, and also melted the wires together in the loom. Funny, the fuses never blew!.

Needless to say I will be making MY OWN controls for the fans now. YES... 2 OF THEM !

 

Perma cool makes a great controller. I use it with a relay for the second fan and it works great and looks factory

 

What about the first fan?
