Question Magna Charger Installers

I am a new member to F150 Online. I am interested in putting a Magna Charger SC and electric fan kit on my 97 5.4L with 3.55 gear. I have already installed a K&NPK, 75mm mass air, 75mm TB, Hypertech chip, Gibson headers, Flowmaster muffler, Heliweg swaybars (f&r), Elderbrock IAS shocks, Power Slot rotors, Preciesion dual fin torque convertor and Transgo shiftkit at 80,000 mi. I am looking for a reputable installer in the Memphis, Tn. area. Does anyone have any experience with shops in this area? Turnaround time is of high improtance since this is my only means of transportation. I have 160,000 mi. on my truck and I am wandering if I should have the motor rebuilt before I have the Magna Charger installed? If so, what components should be focused on (bearings, valves & springs ?). The engine doesn't knock or burn any oil and has been well maintain from day one. I am looking to build a daily driver with dependable performance an a bigger appetite for bowties for breakfast than at present.

Memphis is my old stomping ground. Do a compression test on your motor to see if it needs to be rebuilt or not. I believe anything above 150 and you are fine. If it does need to be rebuilt contact me or crash and we can hook you up with PSP (they offer a complete kit from modmax).

As far as the install you can go to B & B racing. They have a website and are located in Olive Branch. They do great work.

Thanks for the info. That was exactly what I was looking for. It will be early next spring before I have the dough put aside for the SC purchase.

Big Orange,
If you want to come up to Cape Girardeau, MO I know a guy who can do the install. He did mine and did quite a good job. We had it installed in 15.5 hrs and he thinks he could do the next one in less than 14 hrs. If interested, let me know and I will set you up with him.
