Best to talk to Crash!

I know Ford uses an Eaton blower for the Lightnings, and you can purchase a similar unit called a MagnaCharger for about $3500. There are other options available for similar prices. Kenne Bell makes a good s/c that one gentlemen has had tremedous success with (BTBford). Holley also makes a good s/c, but it is a little more expensive, and not many people run it. The s/c that seems to be the most popular right now is an ATI Procharger. It seems to give the best bang for the buck, but that is subject to opinion. The best way to find out which one is best, is to spend a lot of time reading as much as you can about them. Especially in this forum. I have found tons of useful information here, and just recently purchased an ATI. I did tons of research and felt that this blower was best suited for my application. I even talked to Crash! on the phone a couple of times. He is a great guy with tons of knowledge and experience, like the rest of the people in the forum here. In the end, I plan on doing the install myself, in my driveway. So you don't have to worry about this being rocket science. Just look around and ask a lot of questions, all the answers are here.

I'm also considering S/C my HD. If i plan on doing it I am doing it right. What other mods should I consider to make sure my engine is ready and protected. Just what do you also have to do beside's the S/C.
