uninstalled ATI but..............

I didn't leave it out. Pic does it no justice but let me tell ya what a PITA to do...............Once I got started I though why did I even bother? I missed the ATI big time while it was out. And I though about selling it, not yet anyway. I know why I drove slow all the time bec the truck is a pig without the blower. Putting it in, then taking it out, you realize what a difference it makes. You don't know what you got until it gone.........................I was about a week without the ATI, I still want to do something with the intercooler pipes but the welds are not to be desired for getting my shine on to them. The powder coating hides alot of the flaws.

Anyone know if ATI offers the intercooler pipes in chrome?

I also slapped on a Magnaflow Catback, I wasn't really into spending $407.00 for a exhaust but it was all polished and it did make a difference, with and without the ATI. And I'm so glad it's not load, rumbles but I can live with it. Wifey hasn't said anything yet but she still doesn't know the blower is in the truck either, she even saw the pictures I took of the ATI today (she picked them up) and she said nice shiney thing when did you do that......................

Silver X,

Whoa! You mean you actually took it because it mal****ioned and needed to be worked on? Or because of all the speeding/police problems you where having? I guess you had to take it out to have your engine operate without it, instead of just bypassing the blower pulley?

iron horse: I took it out to polish it all up, and I need to truck everyday so I just had to put the intake back on, but of course it never goes back as easy as it is to take out. 20mins to take it out and 2hrs to put back........but I did make more adjustments for a better fit then before.

Crash: I could have had the pipes plated quickly but the quality of the welds are not show quality to be preped for such a thing. I'll figure something out, maybe I will have one of the boys wipp up a new set and plate them.

I am trying to have some self control of flexing the ankle but after I got it all back in I was ripping it up a bit with the new exhaust to just test things............, I am back to ankle control.............

Silver X,

Hey thats an ideal, "ankle control". Maybe the supercharger kits should come with an ankle brace that you can increase or decrease the tension in, so as to allow a person to arch their foot at a faster or slower rate as needed...........ha!
