New NOS setup
New NOS setup
I just read an artical in the Race Pages Magazine about the new NOS wet kit that sprays the NO2 from the fuel injector boss in the intake. They put it on a stock 2002 mustang GT and with a 100 shot of NO2 it made 149 hp to the rear tires and 217 tq. That is amazing! My friends mustang with a 175 dry shot only made 152 hp to the rear tires and 220 tq. That is more power with less NO2. I hope to do that on my truck soon when I can aford the kit, "$1500" in JEGS. With 10 psi and a 100 shot I could woop lightning butt.
Hi ponykiller, you'll need to do considerably more work to beat the L's. You'll be fuel starved with a stock setup. I have a prototype wet system shooting the NOS through a stage 2 annular discharge nozzle, directly into the blower plenum.
The KenneBell supercharger in cool weather is able to get 12 lbs boost. I have tons of other mods...recently after reprogramming chip, I did a gtech run without the juice and posted a 13.46@102. I feel comfortable about beating or staying with a STOCK L and with the juice on, I should pull away. But, most of the L's i know around here are tuned and doing mid 12's. It's not going to be easy for you to spank an L.

Who said I had a stock fuel system? I acctually just upgraded to a aeromotive fuel pump with number 10 braided line for the pickup and number 8 braided line for the return. It should have enough pump for the nos setup I want to use.
I believe you will still need lots more mods to spank an L...but then again, your mods are not listed so I am making a general statement. With a wet system, you'll also need a separate fuel pump and line for the NOS setup..i would hope that this
is included in the Jeg's advertised system.
