Doesn't it suck that everything good has to be so damned expensive!?
There may be some other alternatives. I can't think of any that would work without the wife knowing. I guess you will have to come to an understand on that.
There are a couple less expensive superchargers out there. They wouldn't have an intercooler. They wouldn't give you 50% to 65% gain but they would give a respectable 30% gain. There is a Powerdyne that sells for just over a thousand. It seems like it would be worth it for the money. The fastest 4.6 truck (so far) here in the superchargers section is running the Powerdyne. You can also add an air to air intercooler later on. It's one to concider.
I guess there is the option of a used set up. I think you could get a real good deal. Just be careful!
I used the old credit card. I have been on the payment plan for so long (cars, trucks, apartments, now the house) it's just the way it has to be. I am doing to many expensive things at the same time to be able to afford to pay any one out rite. I would be old wishing I'd done things if I didn't take atvantage of consumer credit.
Where there is a will there is a way. Patience helps too, but I know from experiance that that is in short order when you've got supercharger on the brain.
A supercharger is probably the most cost efective way of achieving the ability to "smoke-em"!

Good luck!

The cheapest I've ever seen a Powerdyne sell for is $2000.

Sorry, I'm mistaken. The SVO Supercharger is listed for 1,999 here.

Zaino is a show car wax. I use it too, and love it. It's takes some time to do it right, but as you can see with flaresides pics and in my gallery I think it is well worth it. Check out zainobros.com
