5.4L 9lb Pulley installed!
HI!... FLATSMAN : Yes the 4.6 has it's own cam grind. The "99" to current 5.4 "P.I" heads use the same cam profile if it's on a LIGHTNING or REG F-150 5.4. The older NON- "P.I" heads on the 5.4 pre-LIGHTNING also have a different cam grind. So YES there are 3 different cams that were offered in the TRITON engines. I'm glad to see that you should be able to do some modifications to use the "P.I" heads. Let me know how it works out for you. I'm very interested. Thanks.
Hey guys-
Sorry for the long silence but personal issues have kept me from keeping things in focus.
Anyway, I got the belt replaced and I am still getting about 7.5lbs of boost. Not sure what can be issue. I have checked out the the fittings and connections that could cause me to loose boost. I had a similar problem with my Z-28. Could not find anything. Any suggestions would be helpful.
As for the reburn, I have not needed to get one done but I am not sure that I need it done. Called Kenny Brown and their dyno is not setup for giving A/F ratios so I am looking for alternatives.
Got the fan off and waiting on the electric fans to come in. Running without the stock fan, I know is not adviseable, but I am rarely sitting in traffic for it to be of concern and the cool weather is helping it stay low.

Way2Big,
Same thing happened to me.
The truck was running great at first, then I started to loose boost and power. Then I started to see over boost conditions!
In my case the truck seemed to be running very well but in fact, the fuel ratios were so far off that the cats self destructed.
The only way I know to rectify this is with a GOOD tuner, and a dyno with A/F capabilities.
I hope this isn't what's happening to your truck. It was an expensive lesson for me!

I have switched back to "stock Magnacharger" configuration. Superchips has been unable to help me properly calibrate even with A/F numbers off the dyno. (I have many additional mods other than the pulley.)
Once we'd get the trims right on one portion, trims on the other end of the spectrum go to hell or, the cold start tables would drop off line. Superchips said they need more information from Ford that they can't get or, that will take months to obtain. They basically told me they give up. I've been messing with it for too long. I quit.
However, there are some new Lightning type systems that are currently being engineered/tested that will provide more boost/h.p./torque for the 5.4L trucks. Maybe I won't have to wait long?
So anyone who wants a 90mm MAF or a ported 75mm TB or Lightning injectors, let me know.
