Supercharger on a 5.4 in a SuperDuty?

Anyone here have a supercharger on thier V-8 F-250 or 350 SuperDuty?

What kind of HP and torque increases did you get? Is it worthwile to get one for the extra power for towing heavy loads?

Someone did a Holley Thunder kit a while ago. He seems happy. Do a search on "Holley Thunder".

DanB 360,

I've been looking for quite awhile and the options are limited for the V8 250/250 SD - seems the V8 in the SD just doesn't get any respect...

As Crash says, the Procharger should fit, as well as most other centrifugal type systems. I've traded email with Whipple and Magnacharger and neither one supports V8 SD's - like I said, no respect. They both (Whipple/Magnacharger) say they're working on kits, but they're slow coming. Someone stated that V8 SD's are a small percentage of the overall SD engine mix, with V10's and PSD's being the majority. But that's OK, I like my "little" V8! I may get tired of waiting for a positive displacement system and opt for the Procharger.

Good luck,

Dan
