Thumbs up MagnaCharger Installed !!

Got my latest Mod installed, and what a difference . The response it THERE as soon as you touch that right pedal.

Here in the Chicago area we don't have alot of so-called auto specialty shops, so I asked Magna for a referral and thay hooked me up with a shop in Joliet IL (Advanced Auto Repairs). I was so pleased with the process, that I had them do my suspension work also (2" rear drop). Looks GREAT ! Will post pics soon..

Now I can proudly say,
2000 Harley Davidson Edition
" BLOWN 5.4 by MagnaCharger"

Other Mods include
K&N FIPK
Superchips Flip Chip

Future Mods
Cold Air Intake System (any suggestion ?)

Question

Thanks Crash,
However, can you expand on your 'cold air system" suggestion

Can I pick this APC filter up at most auto stores ?

What the He%% is a dryer duct (forgive my ignorance) ??

What would I use to seal the PCV to the fender wall ???

Do you know of some pics/instructions of this setup ????

And last, Does anyone have any info on the Volant Air Intake system ?????

THanks in Advance

Mike

The volant would be a good inprovment for the magna system. The way Crash is talking about it very cheap (less than $40). If you have the money then go with the volant system. They have a very good fit and finish product.

Congratulations Deacon on the install.
Had mine done some time back and am very pleased.

As regards a cold air system, I did my own.
Instaed of a dryer vent, I chose some flexible 3" exhaust pipe.
Goes from my grill valance routed up thru the fender hole!

I did not seal it like CRASH suggests. perhaps this part of the restriction he refers to? I will try this.

I assume the restrictor is the front portion of the OEM air kit?? If this is so...then leaving this on in MY case, caused a severe restriction in air flow.
YET this is what MagnaCharger suggests, or at least a closed system!

I did take it off for a time. Last night I did some other personal modifications to the system, and will post pics if asked.

What I would really like is some advice on the BEST air intake for our blown 5.4's

CRASH this is a personal invite for your expertise, and will be truly appreciated.
