Powerdyne questions..

1. Has anyone installed an intercooler to their Powerdyne?
2. What is your Intake Air Temperature at cruising & at wot compared to ambient temperature?
3. Anyone know the cfm the Powerdyne unit flows?

Thanks,

I was told that under boost 120 degrees intake temp, with 75 degrees outside. The EEC will pull about 3 degrees of timing with that temp(that equal maybe 10HP). I got the info from someone I know who had a powerdyne(on a 97 4.6), and monitored the ACT in realtime. I don't think an intercooler will be any benifit with anything less than 10 psi of boost, that would be too much for a powerdyne to supply, and live very long.

there are much easier ways of getting 10HP, than the expence of an aftercooler.

For CFM, rule of thumb is 1.5 cfm per HP, guessing you have a 4.6, stock 205, plus 7 psi of boost 70HP (Guess between 275 - 300HP)......... 275 X 1.5=412 cfm 300 X 1.5=450

This is only a guess.
