Buying a used Roush Charger

Hey supercharger people,

I have someone local to me selling a roush supercharger complete that was removed from a 2006 F150 5.4. I was thinking of buying it for my 2004 5.4. It comes with the thottle body, injectors, fuel rail and everything as it was removed whole from the engine. also comes with the ECM removed from the truck.

There is no installation instructions and I assume I will need to find all new gaskets associated with installing this.

My question is what should I be looking for when I inspect it? What else would I need to install it? Should I buy it at all?

He says there is about 15 k miles on it and he is asking 1500 for it.

Looking for knowledge.

Thanks

i would act as if worse case. I would get a cost on a blower rebuild. with that cost factored in, if you are ok with the total cost, then go for it.

make sure that any part or gasket needed, is available.

2006 truck has to have some miles on it. if over 130k miles i might not be so fast to install a blower on a 130k mile engine and transmission.
