I'm new to this forum so I hope I'm in the right area. I've got an 01 screw KR, lifted 9", 37" gladiators, forged bottom end, ford racing cams, monster level 2 trans w/2600 stall, carbon fiber drive shaft/c.v. shafts. About to install L supercharger setup, my question is, since the intercoolers are known to clog, would there be an issue with installing a in line filter to catch any debris and also isolation valves on either side of the filter to make changing easy?

um, that's not what the "clogging" issue is...

the "clogging" you are hearing about clog the core IF the coating from the rotors starts flaking, kind of like leaves clogging air flow thru a radiator - putting a coolant filter in place would do nothing for the blocked air flow
