Running 10+ PSI with Whipple...

So my Whipple Kit arrived. I also picked up a 3 inch pulley and 95mm MAF kit to run ~11-12 PSI boost. I want to make sure I have everything dialed in for the additional boost. In addition to the above I will be running:

1. 255 LPH Walbro Fuel Pump
2. 47# Cobra Injectors
3. Steeda Belt Tensioner
4. Larger Heat Exchanger

Anything else I need to be doing for the additional boost? Should get everything installed in the coming weeks. Vortech kit will be going up forsale soon!!

I ran a 3" pulley before going Metco lower and stock upper. It had slip issues at times. I made my belt crazy tight to remove the issues but my idler bearings didn't last real long after. Honestly Metco crank pulley and stock upper is better then 3" upper.

I also run Cobra 47lb injectors, Thump RRR tensioner, stock heat exchanger and stock fuel pump.

I am using Ford Racing colder plugs. When I put the new built motor in the Ford Racing heads were the new design (no more two piece plugs...YEAHHHH!!!!)

These plugs FYI:

Also I did pick up a 180 degree thermo.

Are you going to run twin 255lph? Otherwise switching to a single 255lph would be a mistake. The stock pump is rated at 310lph if I remember correctly.

Pretty sure the stock pump is rated at 91 lph @ 45psi.

Old trucks none flex fuel yes. The newer ones are much better. Keep in mind Whipple supports 12psi on the stock fuel pump with upgraded injectors per the install manual. That would not be possible with a 91lph pump nor a 255lph pump. My twin 255lph pumps with 60lb injectors were at 60% duty cycle running 12.45 psi maintaining an a/f of 11.22.
