Smaller pulley

Hey guys I'm throwing a smaller pulley on my 6.2 2.3 tvs, it has a 75mm pulley and I'm going to 72mm, taking it from 8#s to 10#s, and also throwing on a HD intercooler on as well, and a retune from Stang hi.. Think I will see much in hp and tq? And also any experience with Stang hi ?? Thanks for the reply if you leave one.

20-30 rwhp increase. Not sure what exhaust set up you have but that may be your next step towards unleashing the power.

Ya i am still running stock manifolds... A header install on these 6.2s are like 4k... The instal alone is pushing 1000, but trust me after my Dshaft upgrade it's getting headers. Just spent 15k on the truck so I'm already in big trouble .

Ya crash I will try and get some temps for ya.

Pats driveline in surrey quoted me on a high performance aluminum DS just over $1000.. I see you have the 72 mm pulley, does it make much difference power, noise wise ??

I don't notice a noise difference with the 72mm. I'm sure it makes a difference in power. Can't say how much cause I haven't had it on the dyno since Headers and pulley. I put it on to get back the 2 psi I dropped when installing headers.
$1000 is not bad for a driveshaft as long as it's a shop known for building high strength driveshafts using quality parts. I wanted to get one from Axle Exchange but they don't ship to Canada.

Ya I did.. I ordered a few Stang hi tunes, high cap intercooler, and the pulley. What intercooler are you running now ? Not that little tiny one is it ?

No, I have a custom intercooler now. Works good but don't care for the looks. You should do the 90mm idler pulley if going with the 72mm. If not you'll most likely get some belt slippage.

Yes it's easy. Loosen bolts before loosening belt. Loosen belt. Swap pulleys. Put bolts back. Put belt on. Tighten bolts. I like to put a little blue locktite.

Nice, is it one of the pulleys behind the new plate ? Or to the left of it ? Or do you have that plate on yet ?
