Lightning lower intake manifold plasma cut plate
Okay so years ago I bought a lighting lower intake. My thinking at the time was to ditch the Heaton and use the lower as a turbo/centrifugal set up. I thought I saw years ago on L rodder that there was a company already selling the sheet metal all plasma/laser cut out so all a guy had to do was bolt it down and then weld your elbow on and You had a very low restriction intake perfect for free flowing higher boost turbo application.
Has anyone seen these or know what in referring too?
In a nut shell you would use just the lower intake and throw out the rest of the junk ie mid plate,blower,intercooler basically anything that would mess with flow hit the trash. Then you take your plasma cutout and drill and tap that to the intake and after all that just Fabricated and welded your intake elbow to that.
Who sells or sold this in the past? I have it posted on l rodder but it been so many years and these trucks are getting over the hill now and people move on.
