After looking at the total cost and what I use my truck for, at this point Im just going to pull the blower off and look at buying a newer crew cab F-250.

you do realize that once you get the motor together you will blow up the trans, then the rear end
no way i would invest this kind of cash into a 12 year old, 200k vehicle.
even a solid package like a rebuit motor with upgraded pistons, fasteners and premium gaskets, rebuilt trans and a proper tune has got to be an $8k project. what you are talking about has 10k plus on it.
