Stuck at 12.7@106mph.

Thats all she had tonight. 3 back to back runs all the same. Very consistant. Best 60' was a 1.78 with the other runs being 1.8. If i could get a little more traction i bet i could pull a 1.7 though a 1.6 would be awesome. Its not spinning bad but it could be better.

Still not bad at all man. Lol

Are you going to try messing with some other tires to help traction?

Ok so my 11.98 was a bit off, but still very consistant times!

In all honesty that a mid 12 at 475RWHP is a bit disheartening. I wonder what would takes to get these pigs into the 11s and if they will ever see more then a high 11 with a built motor.

Maybe try some Hoosier 28" slicks after the M&H are done. Also I would check to see what the DA was and see what your "true time" was. Who knows.

I told you... Hoosier Slicks.

Pretty sure on my race tune I can pull a low 1.6 or high 1.5 60' and be in the low 12's.

Damn. A 1.6 or 1.5 would have put me right where i wanted to be. Guess i need to look in to them.

On another note Troyer has always said these 5.4's with there long strokes like fuel for making torque. Looking at my dyno sheet this is true while leaner made more hp. This really showed itself last night when I experimented with leaning her out. 12.0 a/f produced 12.9 runs all 4 times. While 11.75 a/f produced 12.8 runs. Then I tried her at 11.4 and that produced 3 11.7 pulls. I wish i had more time to a little richer still.

And yes I did check da Irons1in and it ranged from 23-73 during the 3 hours I was there. When corrected for a forced induction motor I ran a high 12.7. I'll stick with my low 12.72 and 12.74 lols.

Not bad twinscrew maybe a better 60ft should help those et. Im working on a 4link for my truck ill see how much my 60ft improves i was already at 1.8 N/A maybe a 1.5 with the 4link and a 100 shoot. I think the 60ft is the most imortant part to getting the best et. I was really looking forward to u runing low 12s or hight 11s so i could be motivated to install my whipple lol,i guess ill keep it for sale till i see someone hit some 11s with the whipple.

Take off your tailgate and along with the rear seat and passenger seat next time. There's an easy 200lbs.

Great thought. Don't really want to lose any weight out back though. Heres a quick little breakdown of what I do to lose some pounds.

5590lbs Street form with me in it full tank of fuel.
Wheel swap 88lbs
Remove sub/box 14lbs
Remove washer fluid 6lbs
Remove spare 59lbs
Remove 1/2 tank of fuel 12-14gals estimated by gauge =75lbs give or take.
Remove steps 20lbs (Need to weigh these to be sure)
Remove jack, jumper cables, & other bs. 17lbs

RACE WEIGHT 5311lbs. Not bad. I have removed the passenger seat before but not this past time. I was just to tired. Next time it will go along with the center console. That thing is a beast!! Back seat is just to much trouble. Kinda like the sway bar.

All this aside I need to weigh the truck again fully loaded to see how many lbs were gained by the flip kit. Can't be much.
