supercharging 05 F-150 with 5.4

ok spoke to some guys that have 99-03 lightening and they were telling me that I could get a used s/c from a lightening and adapter plate and the charger would work on my motor...question is I know just the charger and adapter plate isn't all I need...I know it is just not that easy!!! With that being said anyone of you out that that have tackled this before can you please provide me a list of things i would need.

I use my truck to tow and its my daily driver so I am looking to just make some good decent power to get around the 18 wheelers on the highway and going uphill when towing. Not trying to pull houses off their foundation or anything like that...lol

Thanks in Advance!!!

They lied to you or they are just simply uninformed idiots. The Lightning blower will not work on the 3v. Sorry. But keep your eyes open and you will see used sc kits designed for your truck.

go to procharger, some people swear by them, but some people don't like them as well. I understand you are using us a a research page, which is good, but you need to look at kits yourself, and read up on what they will fit, and whatnot.

For towing go with whipple, roush, edelbrock, or find a saleen kit.
