Your asking if you have to tune the truck after putting a turbo on and your going to build the turbo setup yourself?? Sounds like you have a lot of research/learning to do before you attempt to turbo your truck, otherwise you will really screw up your truck.

My point was valid. I was simply stating you should not yet attempt to build a turbo setup until you have done more research about. Then post about any remaining questions you have and they will be answered.

The forums are for learning, about a year ago I really knew little to nothing about engines or the performance world. But if you want to gain knowledge on these forums, you start by hitting the search function. That's what I did and learned ALOT. 90% of your questions are probably already answered in te forums, for the other 10% you just ask and anyone will gladly help, myself included! I never said I wouldn't help you either. You won't get far here if that will be your attitude toward anyone with a little constructive criticism though.

Blackout is only trying to help. Sometimes you need someone to tell you that you have alot to learn and its not that easy. To his point later, you have to do your research and then ask questions when your unsure of certain things they meant. We have way too many people asking the same questions and sometimes they wont get fully answered depending who answers. Luckythirteen's thread on his build helped me alot in my research for the same thing but i still had some questions which i was pleasently awarded. Lol. Do a search and things like a tune you will realize are the most important part of a turbo engine. But there are many other little things that need attention we might miss.

A good place to start is over at the turboforums, there is a ton of information there and a great place to pick up parts for a decent price!

Definitely check out luckythirteens build, you could probably follow the basics of his build and have a great setup.

I think that would require e fans as well to remove the shroud for more room also?? If I did a front mount turbo I would relocate quite a few things from under the hood for some knuckle room though lol
