New trans and 40 psi. !!!

Well guys some of you knew my torq conv started slipping and making noise. I had been working with Troyer for a replacement TC and Trans.

There was the possablity the balloned TC had pushed the crank forward and messed up some bearings so engine work was also in the mix.

Well based on my towing needs i went a diff route.

I got a new trans, but it's attached a 2012 Gold Bronze f250 CrewCab King Ranch 4x4 6.7 ltr PowerStroke.

Should make a nice TV for my 28 ft TT.

Thank you for all the support and help everyone provided me.

I will certainly miss the kick in the ace the SC had, but the KR's confort should take the edge off

Anyway thx again.

Good move for towing. Having owned a F250 with the 7.3 slightly modified, you can't beat them for towing. I love my Whipple on my F150 but if I was towing any considerable weight on a regular basis I would ditch this truck for diesel. There really is no comparison with a big heavy trailer on the back. Good luck.

Pics Added

It's hard to fit this monster in the frame of my Iphone. I ordered a set of DVD headrests. Dealer thinks they might be able to flash my nav unit to provde a rear zone. A factory installed set has the rear zone. Sometimes there's a key seq that will get you into programming mode on the radio to add stuff like that. Going to go googleling and forum searching for that as well.

"Permanent Boost Whiplash", or, P.B.W. due to radical acceleration in one direction.

LOL ... Well i am pretty much Blind. Legally anyway. I can see the big "E" on an eye test and not much else. They let us have the tag for me when i'm a pass.

Don't let the tag foul ya though i've aquired a few skills through the years. I installed the SC & Trans VB on the f150 myself. Currently i'm restoring a 73 formula that i built a 455 for and switched from auto to muncie m22 4 spd. This car will sort of fill the need for spped as it will finish up this summer. I also own a 04 Mustang GT Conv (no mods) that helps as well.

So you don't think i'm out running over small kids and anything else i wouldn't feel in my new monster truck. My wife does the driving, towing, burnouts, and doesn't have P.B.W. ... ... yet!

I have the F250, Mustang, Firebird, Travel Trailer, Pontoon Boat, motorcycle, & a 4 wheeler. She is the only driver that gets all the fun

Sometimes i drive the boat or our 4 wheeler in open areas, but not much more then that. It's not fair i tell you!

It seems strange to have cars as a hobby when i can't really enjoy them, but i have HP in my blood and so there you go.
