Supercharger on stock f150

I have a 2007 F150, with 3.55 gears. Its stock except for the leveling kit and the exhaust. My friend is trying to sell his supercharger to me, so my question is, what will the supercharger do performance wise, will it cause problems for my truck, and will I need to add anything else? Im a complete noob when it comes to turbos/superchargers.

#1 what is the supercharger off of or intended to be installed on?

#2 is it compatible with your truck?

#3 the supercharger if installable will increase your engines power and torque output

#4 dependability and longativity depends on the tune, useage and maintenance

More info needed on your truck/engine and what his vehicle was with the blower. And as much info on the blower as possible

He had it on a 04 f150 with a 5.4, had headers put on it, and it blew his motor cause of the exhaust, thats what he said at least. Its a procharger and that all I know as of so far.

Anyway is it a P1Sc or D1SC? 2 or 3 core intercooler?

What size injectors come with it?

Because IF he honestly belives he blew the motor due to the exhaust install he's forgetting or trying to hide what really happened

Yep he's an idiot. Motors blow because of improper use or improper tuning. What model Procharger and how much? Could be a good deal for you and you Will love the additional power. Listen to the folks here when you do the install and follow the tuned recommendations and you will have years of fun with your truck.

Your buddy probably was unhappy that the boost psi dropped after the headers and then upped the boost....

Yea, I said I dont think it failed cause of the exhaust, and this morning in fact, he friend told me it was because he didnt have tuned right. Do you have to get a programmer if you put a supercharger on your truck and I have no clue about the P1Sc or D1SC and no idea about the intercooler or injectors, But Ill find out.

Yes, it's best to get a xcal or predator tuner. You will have to get it tuned on the dyno.

P1SC and D1SC are the supercharger models. The D1SC is capable of more boost and power so that would be the better choice of the two.
