supercharger
I wouldn't go less then 180* for your thermostat.
Hey, 2 belts, leaving the S/C pulleys and belt alone.
The thermo was an easy click to order when I was ordering the gauges.
The stock is ? 190*? (4.6L)
Here's an interesting read:

Colder plugs and thermo to ward off detonation.

Are you serious?????
Let's go back to the tuning device (no we're not talking about a supercharger).
#1 the Edge evo has cable issues
#2 the Edge evo can only be tuned by PHP (who doesn't deal with forced induction aplications)
#3 the Edge evo for the '97-'03 trucks is no longer serviced for new customers since the cable issue forced PHP to avoid it like the plague
180* is about right for summer, but a 195* (stock n/a F150) is needed for winter unless the truck has an e-fan setup
Thanks for the info thats what i was hoping for from this site. My edge will accept custom tunes but i'm not sure on how far it will go with these type of Mods I'll have to look into that ' If anyone could lead me to someone on the harness modes that would be great Thanks
So you had your Edge Evo converted to a Gryphon?
That still won't help you since PHP doesn't deal with forced induction and the cable issue is still prevailing unless you had that replaced with the newer style from Edge

i've been wondering about the intercooler pump....does the n/a harness have a connector already?
I probably did my setup as cheap as anyone on here.
I didn't tally the total though. Didn't want to know.
Plus I'm only running about 6.5 psi. Have not been back to the dyno yet but I'm guessing I got about 60-70 RWHP out of the set up.
That's a total guess though.

I just completed my L swap for around $2500, but that was taking my time and watching the classifieds like a hawk and finding killer deals on everything. There are a couple ways to do the swap...mainly depends on which trans you want to use...you probably have a 4r70w stock, if you are going to stick with that, then the easiest way is to use your current harness and have your computer custom tuned...you can keep the edge for guages (I love my edge CS for guages but have SCT custom tuning with an xcal2). In my case I had already swapped in the larger 4r100, so I went with a full lightning harness, computer, dual fuel pumps, etc.
I would highly reccomend the L swap because of how well it all fits (oem parts) and it is intercooled, but Im sure the aftermarket kits work great as well!
Here is a great resource for doing this...Mike Dunn is / was EXTREMELY helpful, and has great prices on parts...here is his website:
