I'm looking into a supercharger for my 2010 lariat and wanted to see if ford will warranty my truck with a charger on it?
I can only find a saleen at brenspeed and an eddlebrock for my truck.

Are you serious? You add 40% more power and expect them to cover a blown engine or transmission? No, they will not warranty the engine, transmission or drivetrain. Everything else should still be covered under warranty. I voided my warranty at about 8,000 miles when I installed my supercharger. Nothings broke yet.

the roush IIRC on the 04-08's kept the warranty, but i'm sure it had to be dealer installed which is understandable

I should have said if dealer installs. I'm pretty sure they wouldn't if I installed

Roush warrantied the engine, but it had to be installed by a certified mechanic and couldn't be modified. Ford did not warranty the parts, Roush did. Roush's tune left a lot to be desired. Roush is the only vendor I'm aware of that supplemented the factory warranty. Their supercharger application is for 2004-2008 models.

simply a dumb question.. no manufacturer in their right mind is going to warranty a highly modified vehicle.. you got to pay to play.
