More then that if you try to put 4V heads on it.

You can to the intake assembly for less then that. Depends on where you get the parts and if you install it yourself.

It's a lot less work then building your 302.

You need to do an intake manifold swap. An L intake swaps right on your current motor.
You need one with the injectors and all the vacuum lines.
Then an heat exchanger, hoses ,pump. And some other parts,(nothing major.
You'll need a good custom tune for the computer also.
Parts you need.

Most of them you can get used and save some money.

Since Lightnings were 2v motors, a whole lot easier.

Here's a couple places that are good for finding the parts you need.
http://www.nloc.net/classifieds/showcat.php?cat=7
http://www.lightningrodder.com/forum...splay.php?f=23

Also ebay.
I used all new parts from the other link I posted (had a tuner already.) And it only cost me about 35 hundred with install! Well, my original setup anyway.

Well just the supercharger goes for around $300 used. And Ive seen intake manifolds go for $300 or less.
If it has any-other parts that go with it it's not a bad price. Depends on what shape it's in.
I've also seen the hole intake with injectors, vacuum lines from the manifold up go on ebay for $650. to 800.

The Eaton came stock on the Lightning.
A Whipple or Kenne Bell would be a very expensive upgrade. They make both to fit on the L intake-manifold but most need a built block to run the kind of power they make.

I run a 2.3 KB on my truck.
