ATI Procharger

Anybody using or have any knowledge about the ATI System.

If you look at their info they are claiming better performance than a roots type unit. Mainly from the fact their system uses an AIR to AIR intercooler.

The ATI unit is a centrifugal unit and has a great reputation with drag racers. It will most likely make great top end but lousy low end because it is centrifugal.

The magnacharger comes with a air-to-water intercooler - these are more efficient that air-to-air because water can conduct more heat than air (this is why you truck is water cooled).

I looked at this unit a while ago and have decided on a roots (when the boss will allow it) because I want low end for towing.

Talking Crash! :

I know this was covered before, but I can't seem to find the thread. Someone mentioned getting a ProCharger, adding a smaller pulley, and having a superchip programmed to lower the rev limiter, so they could have the max boost at a lower rpm. Would that work? It seems like a good idea, but what do I know?
