Here are some pictures btw this kit is for the engine bay. Its not a water sucker (So they say)

i can tell you now that the manifolds and exhaust piping up to the turbo and out will not work.. the motors set differently along with the firewall your looking at a lot of custom fab work to make that work. your better off buying a couple of Y pipes and some exhaust piping and routing the pipe back up yourself. but buy a quality turbo those master powers you would be lucky to see 6 months use out of one.

Well the truck just went into the shop today. im not going to listen to any negativity or someone that doesnt have any experience with the system that I got. The turbos on the kit are tested and proven. Either way the build started today. I will will post pictures and full detail on how we made this turbo setup work.

This has me thinking... i just go my 03 screw 5.4, I'm gonna tune it NA first then if my wife doesn't kill me I might turbo it. I tune audi's currently and i'm thinking of expanding the business to fords.
Have any of you guys tried water/meth injection? This serves 2 purposes... first it acts an intercooler, second it effectively increases octane substantially. I'm about to install a kit on my audi s4. I have tuned a few meth setups and added about 10* timing from a strong 93 octane tune.

Sorry for bringing up an old thread, just wanted to see what the outcome was on this. For whatever reason whenever I click on page 3 it just refreshes to page 2.

i am thinking the op was not totally truthful.

some people that were in that discussion were kicked off the site and their profile deleted, maybe that is why it is not going to 3rd page?

Well that sucks, I was hoping that his person was successful as this was something I was interested in doing to my truck.

Thank you for the info.

I almost went with an on 3 turbo for my foxbody. I decided on a Vortech V3Si instead. I heard a lot of piping problems with the on 3 along with their stock chinese turbo that will fail. I didn't want to deal with a possible headache so I went another route. There isn't much to a turbo kit. You will have to fab all of your charge pipes along with your exhaust manifolds so I say upgrade the turbo, get some 42lbers, put a aeromotive stealth 340 in the tank and let her eat! Got me thinking of turboing my 01....
