In the market for an affordable kit

Well guys like I mentioned in my other thread I got a bunch of money from my insurance and by the time I get everything fixed properly I'll have roughly $3,500 or so to spend on a kit. I would really like to get a whipple, saleen, or possibly fatherford's vortech if it's still available. My only issue is going to be finding a kit thats in good shape that I can get for somewhere around that price. Plus my trucks a hare under 100k right now and I know that a roots system would probably just tear my drivetrain apart at this point in time. I know if I got the vortech that it would be way easier on the drivetrain and I could put a good wastegate on there and still have that bottom end power. Anyways, if anyone knows of a kit out there that they can find preferably a whipple, saleen, procharger, or vortech please let me know! I'm hoping to have me some boost here pretty soon i've been waiting forever to get forced induction! Any help is appreciated. Thanks guys.
Btw for those that don't know its an 05 5.4 3v with 98k and ticking on the clock.
Thanks!!

Roots superchargers do not blow up or ruin trannys. Poor tuning by idiots who think they can tune do. Most of your run of the mill tuners know little about the changes needed to keep the stock tranny from being ruined. In reality with a proper tune the stock tranny can perform very well with a normal lifespan at over 400rwhp. In addition setting up the Vortech with a wastegate is done to increase boost at lower rpms thus making it perform more like a roots. Keep your eyes planted on ebay, craigslist, and the classified sections of the ford truck forums.
