Thats what Ive been told. And I'm one who cant leave anything alone. The first time I saw one of thoser KTM's , I was like one of Pavlovs dogs. I love the color combo. I had told my pal to give me first dibs if he ever wanted to sell the DRZ. That day finally came. He has added some extras. Renthal bars, more agressive tires... Its only got 700 miles on it. I havent told my wife yet. I have to start buttering her up. Took her out for dinner last night to get on her nicer side. lol

Reminder her that off-road moto is a serious friggin workout (I'm not kidding) and it'll give you abs of steel. The Dizzer will work just fine for for dual-sport use.

My wife was on the fence with this one until I pulled up. Then all she said was it's damn sexy.

Damn straight. Thats what I'm talkin about. I rode a quad hard core to work and any other time I could . for a while . warrior 350 . Guys with 500's followed me because I could illuminate their path through the Quagmire of a gasline- powerlines , Called me Jonny gotta Rev. Sandpits till nightfall. Walked, mountain biked ,and road street, if the snow got too deep. Good times and abs of Steel. + my boy is 6 and I want to introduce him into so much more that is out there. The woods , nature, mechanics, Pain. you know what I'm sayin... Ride on. J.B.

There was a place in NJ selling them for around $3000, I forgot the name but I heard from the forms here they are good. Also, don't you need to use premium fuel for superchargers?

That would be JDM engineering. They had a special going on . But they sold out of them. I contacted a seller on ebay who was offering a kit for the 2004's at a similar price. He returned a message to me saying to call him and he would gaurantee the best possible price on the whipple kit for my 05, 5.4. Which charger is preffered for the 5.4 ? I know they have a 2.3 L and a 3.4 L. Is the 3.4 just for built motors ?

Yeah, I think the 3.4 starts at like 15# of boost. You don't need that one.

2.3 will be good for you.
And as you can see by my sig, the 2.3 will make pretty high power if you ever did go built.

Another question. We all know the transmisions need upgrades to handle the increased Horsepower and torque, but whats the life expectancy of the transfercase for us 4wd owners ?

It will work great until the moment its breaks and not a moment longer...

Actually dont do a 4th gear smash the gas so it downshifts to 2nd and youll be fine.

Whipple Shopping?

Hello thump, I was reading your post of February and says there is a Whipple supercharger on $ 4200, you can tell me if it still is at this cost and who does, and if the model is M-6066-F105 Black. Thank you.
