So the motor build is on hold for now?

Your stock block will hold up to pretty good power.
But if ya ever want to crank that Whipple up to 14 or 16PSI and add ported heads , cams. You'll need the built block then.

Good deal on the Whipple buy the way.

I run Long-tube headers with 3" collector's and a dual 3" system on my truck now.
I started with the dual 2.5
