I wonder if dual pumps is really necessary, the KB boost pump is suppose to increase pump output by 50% and I can't see it needing more than that??? Bcz if duals aren't needed this is something a lot more people can look into. Just a thought, I'm still new to a lot of the performance world.

It is possible, but you would be pushing it for sure.

I know Huitt24 was working on a setup for a cheap dual setup using our factory fuel pump setup.

I think when I eventually do dual pumps ill do the switch to e-85, by then maybe it will be more readily available for those road trips I take up to north Texas and down south Louisiana!

Well I did a 5gal of e85 / 12gal 91 octane (tank was a little under half full) so its basically like a 20ish/80 mixture. On the wideband the truck for the most part has it figured it out. Truck seems to have more ***** too and runs a tad bit leaner on half throttle, I didnt do a full throttle as I'm just testing it. Arizona already runs 10% ethonal in their gas as is too. e85 is amazing when you run souly e85 and you have a good tune for it.

Oh and the e85 was $2.81 a gallon and the 91 was $3.23

Thats pretty close to the prices we have here. e85 here was 2.78 and 91 was 3.19 as of this morning. I would try to mix the two also, but I dont know how my truck would handle it. Its getting old

Damn I might have to have my truck tuned for e85 if it becomes more available in my area. I know of only one gas station that sells it around me and it's 30 miles away. I'd just hate to get tuned for that and then go on a road trip and not be able to find it =(

I wouldn't advise doing this to your daily driver and for long hauls...

I'm doing this because the truck is my weekend toy now..and if I want to take it somewhere I can pull it with my F-250..

exactly e85 is far from being a every day driver. The power is amazing if you get maybe a 91/93 octane tune and e85 for the track
