No dealer is going to touch that thing with an aftermarket supercharger on it. $14K is an awesome price, if I was in the truck buying market I'd be all over it.

Mikey, 90% of my previous cars have been GM, I know this is a Ford forum but I havent had any issues with them.

I`m not finding anything that I`d like to trade this truck for and I like not having a payment so I may end up just keeping it. Even thou I think the wife would go for a nice V10 Excursion. This way she gets the room and I get the towing capacity

I definitely need a bigger tow vehicle now..
Been looking into the F250 ... the 5.4l 250`s are really cheap.. would my blower ft on that motor? Specifically an 08 F250?
I don`t want to deal with the 6.0l diesel and the V-10 is a dog compared to my truck.
7.3l is an option but finding a lower mileage one is impossible

Don't get a 5.4. Since you're obviously not afraid of modding a truck, why not get a 6.0?? Studs and a EGR delete and it'll be very reliable. Throw in some tunes, and it'll walk all over a 7.3. Don't let the mileage of a 7.3 scare you either... as long as it has been maintained, a 200K truck still has lots of life left in it.

You`re right, it would be too much stress on that motor. Bad idea.
I don`t mind wrenching.. new head bolts and egr delete and you think the power choke would be ok after that.

Modded 6.0l vs. 7.3l big difference in power?

The studs I think you'd want to get done at a reputable shop. The easiest way to do it is to take the cab off.
And mod for mod, a 6.0 will walk all over a 7.3.
