Supercharged 5.4

I'll start off by saying I don't know a whole lot about superchargers, other than they are badass.
I've got a 99 F150, 17.5" of lift on 44 boggers. 5.13's, 1 tons, etc....
Basically I need more power to turn these big *** tires.
I've got a 5.4 with a couple mods- headers, true duals no cats, 75mm BBK throttle body, TB spacer and k&n cold air intake.
I'm concidering a supercharger for my next mod. My motor had 166k on it, but still runs good. Help me out with some suggestions. I don't want to spend a rediculous amount of money since I'm still recovering from the build. How much hassle is it to put a lightning supercharger on mine?
Heres a pic of my truck....

Good looking truck, watch out for low branches they may hit your mirriors. haha

Not that hard of a swap, It'll cost you around 2-3 G's though to do it right, with all the necessory bolt ons needed.

What all do i need to change on the truck? Just the fuel pump? What about injectors and such....
You think I'll have any issues being my motors got so many miles on it? I knbow I'm gonna blow it eventually, but I'd like to hit the 200k mark atleast.

If it were me i'd just bolt it up to the 5.4 and go. but my trucks not my DD either.

I'm doing the same thing right now and I'll be buying a used motor around the 100xxx mark and bolten her up.

42# injectors
90mm Maf
duel fuel pump hat
lightning computer
lower intake, intercooler, s/c, upper plenum
pulley bridge
heat exchanger
lower hub pulley
tuner

just a few things to look for
these are all stock parts and will bolt up from a 01-04 lightning 02-03 harley

Yeah,
you can do that, but you will still need a lot of the parts list plus custom tuning to make it run.

If you want to make it to 200K, I would not go above 10lbs of boost, have a good tune and then do not drive it like you stole it!

Honestly man the best bang for your buck, would be getting some traction bars and it will feel like 50+ HP extra on that rig. you won't loose all your hp through yuor springs and you'll be able to put it to the ground!

Putting links on my big truck made it go from being a turd to being able to wrap out my speedo and white smoke 49's with a 4.6, that was with 5.38's and locked. do you have an open diff.?

Thats alot of miles and lots of load for stock rods with so many miles. I would recover from the build and save for a built motor to put a L blower on. But thats just me....

I can get you a 02 HD lower manifold, midplate, blower and plenum for pretty cheap. Has alot of NEW still in plastic bags bolts and other items for the swap. Your going to need alot of other parts also.

Just out the madenterprise link above for more info.

I've got traction bars already, and a welded rear.
New 5.13s. I can move pretty good on the road, but I got in some sticky mud and it was bogging down a good bit.
When i say sticky, I was 3/4 up my tires and when i jumped out to hook up the strap i sank over my knees and couldn't walk in it. I had to pull myself out by holding onto the truck and having my g/f pull me back into the truck.....

I may just go the 460 route, I don't know yet. Just trying to weigh out my options, but I would like to keep my a/c, heat, gauges, all that crap.
