Not to sound stupid, but did you go with a larger intercooler? If you did, you might be seeing a pressure drop due to the larger surface area. Just a thought. Might have to change out your surge valve to hold more pressure or go with a smaller pulley on the charger.

my BOV id malfunctioning. i think the diaphragm is busted.. im taking it apart tomorrow to inspect.

larger intercoolers that are vertical flow will flow much better due to less restriction in the system in increase boost

well BOV had a small leak around the threads of the stop adjustment but it wasn't causing a boost leak, that just cause the valve not to stay open like it should. my belt isn't shredding or throwing off dust but it might be the culprit i will replace it tomorrow and cross my fingers. i got it to spike to 8psi then it quickly dropped back down to 5psi then down to 4 almost like the belt was getting hot and slipping under the load. the belt is a 18 months old now. Dayco 5060745 74.5" belt

FasterF150, did you notice anything in particular about the bad belt that others might want to look for before theirs goes bad? Or was it just stretched out and had no adjustment left?

glazed over.. it was tight but wasn't throwing any dust and it was 18 months old. no obvious signs it was bad. it came down to throwing parts at it to try to resolve it and the belt was my next solution.
