Well I went back out tonight.

I got on the L&S oil separator, bypass tube, brake vacuum tube, and a few other things.

I couldn't figure out for sure what was going on here. This is the bypass valve. i think were I have it plugged is correct. Plus this is where I came off for my boost gauge.

I did run into my first fairly major problem. The EGR tube that came with this used kit is wrong I'm pretty sure. The one that I got with it is just like my stock one and it is about 3 inches too tall.

I'm going to have to call Kenne Bell and try to get the one that originally came with the kit. I hope I can still get one. This is a discontinued blower so I hope they still have some parts like this. Or else I guess I'll have to try to build one.

yea I thought about that too. I'd have to have Troyer modify the tune right?

Well Troyer won't do the EGR delete, which is fine with me, and Kenne Bell doesn't make them anymore. I think I can figure out a way to modify the one I have. I'm hoping I can braze the pipe together if I cut a section out.

Wow, I'm surprised he won't do it. I hate EGR's.

Is there a specific reason why he won't delete it? I plan on deleting mine when I put my SC on.

His assistant told me it was due to emission restrictions/laws.

I guess kinda like a muffler shop won't take off your cats?

Well I just got in from the garage.

I put in the 180* thermostat, installed the throttle body, tubes, MAF meter, filter, etc.

ALMOST DONE UNDER THE HOOD!

Then I got out the torch and went to work on one of the EGR tubes to try to bend it into the shape I needed.
I think that went pretty good. I'm going to have my Ford Mechanic come over tomorrow and see what he thinks about it.

If the EGR tube is ok, all I have left is a couple of hoses, then change out the fuel pump and filter. Then change the motor oil, load the tunes and fire it up!!!

Only one pic tonight. I forgot my cameras at work.

One thing I just thought of.

I installed the L&S oil separator per the instructions. So it's between the hose that goes from the passengers side valve cover to the plenum in the back of the blower. That looks great.

BUT, I have another hose that goes from the drivers side valve cover to the air intake tube right in-front of the throttle body.

Won't I have the same problem on the drivers side with oil getting sucked into the blower? Both sides will have a vacuum.

I would think so. Where did you get the separator at anyway. I want one...or two
