turbo response

im putting a turbo on my truck.(94 f150 w 351)Its gonna have the master power t76 turbo on it. im wondering what exactly determines when the turbo will spool up. i want it to spool at very low rpms, like 1500-2000 and wont probably see over 6000. any help is awesome thanks.

how well do your heads flow????


what exhaust set up do you have after the turbo???

I don't remember the a/r on those MP T76's, but you wont see full boost, but it will defiantly be building by 1500-2000.

itll have either .96 ar or 1. it has trick flow twisted wedge heads. and itll have shorty headers. itll have a straight pipe after the turbo.

I like a .96 ar but some guys are running the. 81's for low end on the street, but you will give up some up top. I'd put a converter in it and rock the .96 I don't think you'd be disappointed.

HI!... You forgot to mention what your stall converter stalls at? If you have like a 3000-3500 stall then when at the track or going WOT on the street your going to get full boost or close to it, right off the bat.

I actually do not have an aftermarket converter. Its actually my street truck. So i need something easy to drive, and w power, bc its gotta b fun.
