Bigger injectors in an 2004

I'm finally getting around to upping the boost on my truck and getting a real tune in it. My question is I pulled out my stock injectors and they look different from the 42lb Ford Racing injectors I have. Does someone make some kind of adapter for these? Or is there a different injector I need to be using?

Any feedback is welcome.

I have roushcharger that I'm putting the +2lbs lower pulley on... I put a walbro 255 fuel pump in the truck and have a kenne bell boost a pump. So now it's time to up the injectors and get the brick tuned

Umm, the roush kit already has #39's, more than adequate for a +2 lb lower.

I purchased a set of 39#er's from Roush for mine. Yes I am running a 2# lower with the non-IC'd Roush. Mike tuned mine on the dyno after the 39#er install and I am doing fine. If you don't want to go to Roush you can pick up a set of '03-'04 Cobra injectors from some place like Blue Oval Performance and use them. If Mike T is doing your tune then I suggest you buy a set of Roush's through him. There are a few suttle differences in the same size injectors if they are from different manfacturers.

Marc, thanks... I'm curious, do you know what kind of power your truck made after being tuned?

Dyno sheets are in my vehicle so off the top of my head I remember that we were in the mid 340's but the air fuels were too lean so by backing it off to the 11.80's -11.90's because its a daily driver , I am somewhere in the low to mid 330's. I am very happy with the results.
I did not install the SC for hot rodding purposes, I only wanted more power and torque for the 6000# vehicle. However it did manage to go 14.93 at the track one cool evening.

Trading my 42s for some cobra injectors today... Hopefully I can have it tuned and ready to rock in a week!
