I'm planning the same thing for my Roush s/c Foose. I'm actually quite surprised the gauge wasn't part of the s/c package. Will that Saleen Boost/ACT pod work with a Roush? For $99 on eBay, that's a great deal but I don't want to buy something that won't work.

Plan B is to go with an Autometer boost gauge in a vent pod but I'm not sure where the best place to run the vacuum line through the firewall would be. I would use the vent on the right of the steering wheel if I go this route.

Comments/suggestions?

Its pretty straight forward. Just "T" into any of the vac lines and run the hose through the firewall. EIther find a hole or drill one and put a rubber grommet in it. Right under the drivers side dash works great, can even get in there to drill a hole. There are already a few grommets there you can poke a small hole in and use one of them.
Put the gauge in the A-pillar pod and add a few more to go with it. It would be worthwhile to get a fuel pressure gauge while your at it. Or get one the the Aeroforce gauges, it pretty much does it all.

I have an aeroforce guage but dont use it for boost. My whipple had a little port where I could plug in my boost guage (via vac line) and it works flawless. I use the Aeroforce for trans temp, fuel pressure, MAF readings etc. I also have a Wideband on too. If you look under the factory coolant tank you will see some wires already going through the firewall, I just stuck the vaccum through there.
