Yeah I might look into that... so is this supercharger a mismatch for the lightning engine? It seems to run really well and what i've read about the AED superchargers it seems that they are very reliable... ??

Not sure what you mean by (mismatch) but no Lightning ever came with that blower setup.
Yes it's a good kit and very reliable but not very upgradeable if you want to make big power.

phil if he has indeed a real lightning engine then he's got less compression than a N/A 5.4 the kit was designed for so the M90 is working that much harder

Yeah,I'm not sure if he even has a L block.
But your right, with the lower compression pistons in a Lightning block he would make about 25hp less then with a N/A block.

Sorry for the lack of info- It actually already has the 42# injectors and MAF mod done. And the guy I bought it from had troyer tunes in it.. I am just going to leave it @ 8 PSI.. Now i'm not exactly sure what you guys mean about the low compression. I know the L engine has lower compression but why would that affect the M90 and how much extra strain is it putting on it?

like Derek said having your IAT sensor located in the Plenum is best. do you know if it is mounted there or in the intake??

Mike @ Troyers requested I move mine witch required me removing the S/C and drilling and tapping the hole.. not hard but mybe the old owner did not take this step. worth looking into

yes one could do that, the resealing would be easy but I bet drilling and tapping it striat would still be a pain no a ton of room for a strait shot with a drill ... thats why I removed the whole thing...you would need to still take off and reseal the plenum cover, or at least I would recomend it, just to make sure there are no shavings from drilling and tapping plus it's a great chance to clean the heat exchanger in the intake.

great idea on the power stroke guage I still have my old IAT sensor in that location ill look into getting one. to help air temps I was looking to get a bigger coolant tank. Im still @ 5lb 6 on a cold day lol

If needed I have the Magnacharger install instuctions in a pdf file good for the 4.6 or 5.4 just PM me.
