I expect my stuff to get here from VMP by the end of the week or early next week. I'm going to move my IAT to be after the intercooler and Justin is going to tune for it. I'm really looking forward to getting my livewire

I will leave the 2-core in the truck for a little while and I'll let you know what I see for IAT's.

It' will take a little while for the my buddies intercooler sincce it's about 3000km's away and it's going to get here when I go and pick it up during X-mas holidays.

I plan on having to cut some holes in the header panel to be able to mount the intercooler between the rad and the AC heat exchanger and route the piping.

me too, If it doesn't fit, My buddy says I can just sell it and I will look for a '08 intercooler, it has one fitting that comes out the bottom corner of the intercooler and therefor doesn't really matter if it's not quite wide enough.

Either way I will figure something out.

Nothing yet. I drive home for the holidays on the 22nd. and will be bringing back the IC with me.

Trying to figure out how to set up all the supporting mods for 12psi. I have the tuner and starter tune from Justin, but am running into difficulty getting the wideband o2 in the exhaust.

Trying to sort out if I can use the wide band in place of one of the front o2's and use the analog 1 Lambda signal to send to the ECM.

I can't remember exactly since I haven't had the stock exhaust in a while but it seems like there was plenty of room to weld in a bung without removing anything. Just make sure it's in front of the converters. Seems like I remember there being a decent amount of room but I could be wrong. Will that not work?

I am running OBX LT's with modified Y-pipe with High-flow cats. I have a little bit of room on the drivers side in front of the cat, but the driveshaft is kinda in the way and I don't have the facilities I need to drop the exhaust to get a hole in the top anytime soon (Live in Downtown Vancouver with no garage).

So I was thinking I could get under the truck and pull the front driver's o2 easy enough and Hybrid wire it using the heater circuit of the stock o2 (to keep DTC's from happening) and put the wide-band in it's place and use the Lambda signal from it for the ECM while using the second wide-band output for my data-logger.

If anyone has any experience with this, please chime in!

I've decided to just head out to my Buddies place in Kelowna and use his garage and welder to get the bung for my wide-band installed, if I have to drop the Y-pipe, then so be it.

I really want to get this stuff in so I can get Justin everything he needs to write me a proper tune!

Just a update if anyone is interested. Wide-band installed over the weekend, Blow-through MAF, 42#injectors and FMU removed last night.
I was a little miffed when I went to go ans install the 12# pulley and it was the wrong shaft size

So it will still be running the 9#er until I can get a 12# pulley.

Starter tune uploaded and truck ran great except for being a dog @WOT. Probably due to the timming pulled out for the starter Tune.

I will try and do some Datalogging tonight and get it out to Justin to have a look at.

Does anyone have any experience with datalogging through a Livewire or X3 using Livelink? once I load the config file from Justin in Livelink and update PID's I get Value's of 0.000 fir all the inputs. The Drivers for the Livewire are installed on my Laptop and the Livewire recognizes the Livelink software when I hook up.

Any ideas would be great. I did find this link but it's for the older software and I'm not sure if the new stuff is the same.

try datalogging on your device then pulling the file to the laptop

Nice ugrades. A re-tune will be much better.

I have an Xc2, but I looked in the SCT archives re; lw/ll.

If you are certain that the drivers are installed, you might try this.

Quoted:
Order of events is pretty important.

Connect to vehicle...
Then connect to computer.
Then Turn Key on.
Then open software.
Then press graph button, it should detect the vehicle.

Select pids.

CLick Ok..
Start Vehicle.
Then press green record button.

Are these the same steps you are already doing?

I'm no expert but it is much easier to explain over the phone. I'd be glad to help if I can, shoot me a PM. If your using the wideband there are a few things you really need to do first if you haven't already. Make sure you've measured your ground offset on your wideband or your A/F will be off and your tuner won't be getting accurate data.
Like Burns said, the sequence is important or it will give you errors sometimes.

Thanks a lot for the help. I was doing things in the proper sequence but my "module" settings were off. I had to have "ECM#1"AND "Rapid Packet Enabled" instead of "ECM #1 & #2 (X3/LW)" For it to read the PID's through the Live wire.

I set up my Analog properly and I am going to send the Log's off to Justin and see what he thinks.

Fingers crossed, it runs very good for a starter tune, but I am getting a P0102 with the Blow-Through MAF, Hopefully it's just a tuning thing.

Not to step on Terajarame's toe's, but I will probably do a quick write up on this process as it was difficult for me to find all of the info to properly make this work.

You measured the ground offset? Was it fairly steady? I am just making sure because that gave me a real problem, mine was very choppy at first because of the ground and my A/F would bounce around a lot. Had a few other electronics grounded near the same spot and I think that was causing some very minor interferrence.

Just offering advice I found out the hard way. Make sure the ground is really good and measure to make sure the offset isn't causing the reading to bounce around or it will give your tuner a fit, not to mention leave power on the table they could have extracted if it was a steadier reading.

Just a lesson learned the hard way for me.....

Thanks a lot for the info, little things like that can cause a bunch of grief. I read about making sure the ground was good. I have the analog input (friewire cable) and the LC-1 soldered into the same ground wire and it is running to it's own ground mount on the engine. That engine ground is close to the ground strap the ECM uses, this should net me the best results by my understanding. I have A LOT of electrical crap in my truck and wanted to make sure I kept out the possibility of interference as much as possible.
