I would like to announce...

13.3 at 104Mph hot lapping. Playing with tire pressure still on my 20's...

Edit:

All runs involve going around the water box, backing up into it, a good 10-15 second burnout(smokey), then leave off idle trying to baby it. EVERY run I had to pedal first gear.

Straight off the highway.....

First pass
60' - .0000(didn't read)
330 - 6.026
1/8 e/t - 8.995
1/8 mph - 82.94
1000 - 11.574
1/4 e/t - 13.743
1/4 mph - 104.8

Lowered my rear air pressure to 30psi..

Second pass
60' - 2.084
330- 5.648
1/8 et - 8.589
1/8 mph - 83.30
1000 - 11.160
1/4 e/t- 13.321
1/4 mph - 104.36

I go and let it cool down some. I pop the hood and notice my intercooler pump isn't working A little fiddling and I got it working again. I lowered my air pressure to 28psi in the rear, and raise my front tire pressure to 45psi...

third pass
60' - 2.109
330 - 5.674
1/8 e/t - 0000
1/8 mph - 0000
1000- 11.121
1/4 e/t - 13.255
1/4 mph - 105.5

I knew from that pass there was another tenth or two now that my pump was fixed. I lowered my rear tire pressure to 26 and hot lapped.

fourth pass

1000 - 11.074
1/4 e/t - 13.229
1/4 mph - 104.69

I got a bad *** 60', but as soon as crossed that marker I got on it, pedled, it shifted to second at only 4000 rpm and bogged the truck

That was the last pass I could do tonight. That 13.0 or maybe even 12.99 was there just needed one or two more passes... Oh well maybe next time.

Next time ill remove my front swaybar, and bring ALL my lugnuts for my drag radials:o

have you seen the new sway bar links for additional suspension travel??


they are used in the off roading applications and I am looking athem for my truck so I can leave the sway bar on the front and still get a good launch

Yeah I looked at them. The sway bar though is nothing to take off, and itself weighs nearly 40lbs if I remember correctly.

I'm really impressed by my 1.9 60 with my 20's'. A little more practice on squeezing the pedal that could have been a very good run.

Thats ok will catch up again real soon and do it again.


I was going to go but I have some other things that I have to take care of
I might be able to come up there and watch on Sunday if I can get the other stuff taken care of by saturday.
